The Highworth Open Mixed Doubles Tournament

This tournament was held at the club on Sunday 4th September and attracted a record number of entrants this year. Despite initial drizzly rain, the event got under way at 11 am and a fantastic day of competitive tennis ensued where even the sun came out in the afternoon. The tournament was organised in groups of 4 and we ended up with group winners at the end of the day. Congratulations go to Simon and Ange Perry who won group 1 and were declared our overall winners and winners of the prestigious cup. Other group winners were Katie Ballard and Paul Harris from Cirencester Tennis Club, Ali Williams and Karen White from Highworth and Jon and Becky Elliman from Nationwide.
